What is Streetlight?
Streetlight is an adolescent and young adult support program here at UF Health for people aged 13-30 living with cancer, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell, autoimmune illnesses, and other chronic and life-limiting illnesses. Medicine can do a lot, but there are some issues that medicine does not cover. The way we see it, sometimes a friend can be the most powerful source of support.
What type of inventory do you offer?
Our inventory includes over 1000 DVDs, Video Games, Systems, and Laptops.
Our video game systems include Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
We offer different things to each person, based on your infection control guidelines and unit.

How do I request something?
You can ask any Streetlight member or call 50917 from any hospital phone.
I would like one of everything, please.
Everyone is allowed up to 3 video games and/or 3 DVDs at a time. Let us know if you’d like laptops or video game consoles as well.
